ABOUT THE AUTHORS


SHIELA ARROCO is a faculty member of Bicol University. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Foundation in 2006 at Bicol University.

JONATHAN ARROCO is the Dean of the College of Industrial Technology in Bicol University. He finished his Doctor of Philosophy in Development Education at Aquinas University of Legazpi.

RAMON RODRIGUEZ teaches Computer Science and Information Technology at Mapua Institute of Technology. He finished his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Aquinas University in 2002 and completed his degree Master of Information Technology at the Ateneo de Manila University in 2010.

JOEL ILAO is a faculty member of the Computer Technology Department, College of Computer Studies at De La Salle University. He received his Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering and Doctor of Philosophy in EEE from University of the Philippines- Diliman and his Master of Science in Computer degree from De La Salle University. He was sent to Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany as a visiting researcher to work on Speech-to-Speech Translation. His research interests are in the fields of Machine Vision, Digital Signal Processing, and Computational Linguistics.

SIMON LISTANA is a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English at Aquinas University and passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers in 2001. He finished Master of Arts in Education major in English at Bicol University in 2010. He is now studying at Philippine Normal University for the degree Doctor of Philosophy in Literature. He is the Director of Research, Planning, and Development and the Chairperson for the AB Communication Program and Literature, Languages, and the Humanities GE courses in Aquinas University of Legazpi.

ABELARDO BELLEZA is the Academic Coordinator of the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs in Aquinas University of Legazpi. He finished his Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Science at Aquinas University, Master of Arts in Teaching Literature at the De La Salle University, and currently writing his dissertation for the degree Doctor of Philosophy in Language and Literature at the Ateneo de Manila University.

PATRICK GERARD PAULINO is the Director of the Center for Religious Education and the Chairperson for Teacher Education in Aquinas University of Legazpi. He is a graduate of Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy in 1998 at the Mater Salutis College Seminary. In 2007, he finished his Master of Arts in Theology at the Holy Rosary Major Seminary in Naga City. He earned the degree Doctor of Philosophy in Development Education in 2013 at Aquinas University of Legazpi.

KURT ESSA RASTRULLO is a licensed Guidance Counsellor of Aquinas University. He took Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2009 and Master of Arts in Education major in Guidance and Counselling in 2014 both taken at Aquinas University of Legazpi.

MAJA FRANCISCO is presently the Director of Guidance and Testing at Aquinas University of Legazpi. She earned Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2002 at the University of the Philippines-Diliman. She finished two Master’s degrees: Master of Arts in Psychology at Ateneo de Manila University in 2008 and Master in Business Administration at Aquinas University of Legazpi in 2011.

LALLY LAGUILLES-VILLAFUERTE is the Extension Coordinator of the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy of Bicol University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in 1997. In 2003, she completed her Master of Arts in Psychology at the same university and in 2013, her Doctor of Philosophy in Development Education at Aquinas University of Legazpi.

DANILO KEH, JR. graduated magna cum laude at Christ the King Mission Seminary School with the degree Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy in 2011. He is currently doing his thesis for the degree Master of Arts in Education major in Religious Studies. He is a teacher in the Basic Education Program of Miriam College in Quezon City.

VINCENT CASIL teaches Philosophy at the Lyceum of the Philippines University and the City of Malabon University. He took his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy in Philippine Christian University in 2011. He is doing his thesis for the degree Master of Arts in Philosophy at the Ateneo de Manila University.

ALVIN SARIO is currently the Institutional Research Coordinator of Aquinas University and the Assistant to the Dean of the Graduate School of the same university. He took his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy at Aquinas University of Legazpi in 1999. In 2005, he finished his Master of Arts in Philosophy at the University of the Philippines-Diliman and in 2011, his Doctor of Philosophy in Development Education at Aquinas University of Legazpi. He is writing his dissertation for Doctor of Philosophy in Philosophy at the Ateneo de Manila University. His research interests are Hermeneutics, Political Philosophy, and Development Education. His philosopher is John Rawls.

JAYSON JIMENEZ is a faculty of Philosophy at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. He is currently taking Master of Arts in Philosophy at Christ The King Mission Seminary School.
